Something Of Note
Effective October 1, 2007:
Scheduling: Lessons are taught once a week in 30 minute blocks. Please contact me for available times.
Missed Lessons: Lessons missed because of illness or other conflicts will be offered a make-up time as a courtesy to the student, at no added charge provided at least 48 hours notice is given and a mutually available time slot can be arranged. Make-ups need to be be scheduled and completed within one week of the missed lesson. Students should not attend lessons when ill. When 48 hours notice is not possible, please call first thing in the morning the day of your lesson if you must cancel due to illness. Lessons missed without proper notice, or no notice at all, will be charged and billed. If a make up is requested for a no-show, there will be a lesson charge for the make-up in addition to the regular lesson charge. Make-up lessons, once scheduled, cannot be rescheduled. Only one cancellation per student per 30 day period will be allowed.
Practice Time: Students are expected to practice assigned material until it can be played well, with little or no mistakes. Material that has not been mastered will be reassigned for another week. For younger students, I recommend about 20 minutes a day, older students up to 30. This will differ from student to student.
Billing and Payment: Effective October 1, 2007: All new students will be billed monthly, due by the first lesson of the month, for that months lessons.
